Ryan founded Woolery Advisory Group to serve as the premier regulatory compliance and reporting group in the industry. Leveraging skills obtained from his history of managing and developing staff and clients.  Ryan leads the company in supporting it’s clients values through high quality service and attention to detail.

Ryan started his career at Martindale Consultants Inc. and has extensive experience in royalty and joint interest reviews including drilling wells, offshore operations, and gas plants.  Ryan has also conducted wellsite inventories and performed equipment pricing reviews.  In 2018 he started the regulatory compliance and reporting department which managed over 100 Operators and Non-Operator’s owning state, Federal, and Indian leases with over $80 million dollars in royalties and taxes reported monthly.  

Ryan has experience in Federal, Indian, and state reporting, including:

  • Royalty reporting for onshore Federal and Indian leases and multiple states
  • Production reporting to the ONRR and multiple states
  • Severance, conservation, and production tax reporting
  • Operator liaison on ONRR and state compliance and audit requests

Ryan has actively served in the following capacities in the Council of Petroleum Accountants Societies (COPAS):

  • National Committee Chair and Sub-Chair of Emerging Issues Sub-committee
  • National Committee Chair of the COPAS CEPS Control Panel
  • Active Member – Oklahoma City

Kim is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Kim has been in the oil and gas industry for 38 years and has a wide range of experience in various revenue and compliance accounting departments. She spent the past four years assisting with the development, management and onboarding of the regulatory department at Martindale Consultants Inc. Prior to that she worked 18 years at Devon Energy where she held numerous positions including Revenue Supervisor.   Kim also has worked on multiple SAP implementations for oil and gas revenue, severance taxes, and Federal royalties.

  • Federal royalty reporting required by ONRR revised Federal Rules

Kim managed and has direct experience with revenue and regulatory issues in the following areas:

Office of Natural Resources Revenue, Bureau of Land Management, Texas, New Mexico, Tribal Lands, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas, Colorado, Montana, Utah, California, Wyoming, North Dakota, and Offshore Gulf of Mexico

Kim has a wealth of knowledge and outside of work….well Kim loves to work it is her passion…but seriously outside of work Kim enjoys spending time with her family, volunteering in the church, and catching up with work friends from the past.
